Can I submit AI-generated music on LabelRadar?
Yes but you must disclose it accurately during submission.
LabelRadar relies on accurate information about how tracks are created. Disclosure of AI usage is required to maintain transparency with labels reviewing submissions.
Please note that tracks primarily generated by AI will not be eligible for commercial release by record labels, as majority AI-generated compositions do not qualify for copyright protection in many jurisdictions. Labels may therefore choose, at their discretion, not to sign or release these tracks.
What counts as AI-generated music?
AI-generated music includes:
- Tracks where melody, harmony, lyrics, or structure are primarily generated by AI
- Prompt-based compositions with limited human input
- Use of tools like Suno, Udio, or similar
If AI played a meaningful role, select Yes or Partially.
The following do not count as AI-generated music:
- Mixing or mastering tools
- Audio cleanup or enhancement tools
- Minor production assistance (e.g., stem separation, noise reduction)
