What are credits and how do they work?

Credits are a very important part of the LabelRadar platform. We've made it easier than ever to get your music to the right people, but without the credits system, it would be too easy to spam music to everyone, meaning the decision-makers would get overwhelmed, the music wouldn't get listened to, and no one would be any better off.

So, what are credits? They are our in-platform currency that allow you to make submissions to Labels or Promoters.

To submit music to a Label or Promoter, you need 5 credits. You will receive 5 credits for free each month if you have none available on your account - it's entirely possible to use the platform for free that way. You can also earn additional credits by taking actions such as inviting friends to the platform or following certain labels' Spotify playlists.

If you want to make more than one or two submissions, you can always purchase additional credits - either the specific amount you want, or you can upgrade to PRO for a whole heap of credits as well as other bonuses which are outlined here.

Did you know? If your track isn't listened to within 30 days your credits are automatically returned to your account and the existing submission remains intact. We do this to encourage speedy replies and to ensure you're getting the most value out of your credits! Here's an article that dives deeper into this. Please note only labels that are actively reviewing music on the platform are shown in our lists (otherwise they'll disappear).

It's important to note that you DON'T need credits to participate in the many exciting Opportunities hosted on the platform, such as remix contests, sync briefs, finish the track contests and more.
